5.0 out of 5 stars

My wife and We were looking for the second Blu-ray player besides our PS3, but several requirements was a slim player. This is considering that the space we needed to put it in was too narrow to fit any with the other Blu-ray gamers we had looked during. I was happy to uncover this Sony player that not only fits perfectly, but in addition has great picture as well as sound.

The PS3 remains considered by many to generally be THE reference player intended for judging image quality regarding other Blu-ray gamers. I can say any time using this player for a passing fancy TV with the similar settings as the Playstation 3 slim for comparison, the picture quality is just as fine, and looks just incredible. The audio is in addition superb.

As far since the interface goes, the selection system is taken completely from the PS3's XMB interface, although on the Blu-ray player, XMB navigation is plainly sluggish compared to using the XMB on the Playstation 3 250gb, but this is unsurprising considering the rest from the hardware. It works excellent though, so I haven't any complaints about it.

In addition, I had no complications getting Netflix to have all, and movies replay very smoothly. The solely drawback is that this specific player only does stereo system audio from Netflix, compared with the 5.1 music that the PS3 can.

The one other element I'll mention is which the wireless signal strength beat shows that the gambler is only getting in relation to 33% signal strength. This really is odd because when My partner and i place it right next to the PS3, the PS3 shows 100% signal energy in the same place when this player will be showing 33%. It won't appear to be a dilemma, however, as the Blu-ray player continue to streams everything smoothly.

In general, this is a terrific player and I don't have regrets after buying this.
