Incredible Audio and Picture Quality - A Purist's Player, September 15, 2009
Medium to high end Blu-ray landscape has radically changed the $ 500 Oppo. It forms, and value in a beautiful package. That is, there are still players, the best audio quality (via analog) and a bit 'more style and verve, and that is the Denon 2010CI Marantz BD7004 and its cousin the job.
The Marantz is a very smart player with a curved facade, which is among the players with lots of tiny rectangular focus on design. This is a heavy, solid player sits a bit 'higher than most. From the point of view, the construction, it may not offer more space for planning and possibly prevent the absorption of heat in a smaller area.
The players have responded, but not fast motion. Fold both are about 13-15 seconds and non-Java and Java light load discs in 20 to 40 seconds. Heavy Java slices about 1 minute.
The player is Profile 2.0 for Web-based functionality, creating a parapet for creating web updated firmware.
Even if the player is almost identical to the Denon 2010CI, Marantz BD7004 is provided me with no problem shaking the hand of strange flashes briefly green due to start.
DVD upscaling is first class with the VRS chip scale ABT. I would say that 98% of the Oppo for regular wages. The Oppo-chip (ABT 2010) recognition rates are slightly better in the dark and animated cartoon characters, but the ABT 1030 chip in 7004 had an extraordinary job with the reproduction of detail, color accuracy and motion. Menu detail refine PQ, including NR, gamma, brightness and contrast (GUI menu is a bit 'dated). BD playback is very good.
The player gains a competitive advantage in terms of audio performance. 7.1 CH analog output is huge, and the speaker settings and distances, but does not allow the combination annoyingly. The CED is enormous, and the sound is very clean and friendly.
This player is truly a worthy competitor to the Oppo if you consider the three-year warranty and 232 RS, but push your dealer for a more realistic price.

Marantz 7004 review, June 23, 2010
I must say that is a player of high quality fi nuts like me. I have my players for $ 600.00. normally goes for $ 800.00. This would be the player that after a month, all players are looking there. It 'was this or BDP83 Oppo. Marantz 3-year warranty is just awsome. The sound is top notch. I use the analog outputs to my receiver, because I have the new HD audio formats still in my receiver. The manual and the configuration is well placed. Simple interrupted. I recommend this game for you who need wi-fi and what kind of extra material on the hard disk. If you buy a good quality sound and picture and make those players.
