I just opened nowhere BDP-SX1000 I purchased from Sam's Club...bought this there for a little more because you cannot acquire warranties for electronics about Amazon (that I know-of). We used my Philips SHE5910 surround-sound headphones...fantastic sound with this portable BluRay player, which offers great video display. Now i'm next going to look at the quality of the HDMI output into my H . p . 23" monitor and I actually expect the same top quality. Just need to come across child-size surround-audio headphones for my time 4 & age 8 boys now.

We started acquiring mostly BluRay movies considering that we started buying fresh Samsung TV's and Packages players for our home (1st Samsung LED TV & BluRay player bought almost 2 yrs ago) and also camper (bought a The Bluray for camper because most are too long with regard to compartment in our person). This portable BluRay appeared to be thereby needed for our youngsters while traveling since many of the movies we now acquire are BluRay, even however most are available with the DVD version also; Packages just has very noticable better picture quality. Most of these portable BluRay players are more expensive than a traditional Packages player (about $100 starting up price) or portable Dvd movie player I guess since they have HDMI output as well as the internet jack as you actually occasionally need to bring up to date the BluRay player computer software just like all other BluRay players. It continues to have the 2 headphone jacks as well as a audio in/out and video in/out knucklebones too (same as the Sony DVP-FX94 that will I've had since August 2010 and have acquired no problems with this...Samsung will be my personal 1st choice in Gadgets, with Sony being another best when Samsung product isn't available.
